For more than 25 years LSB associated architects composed of Giuseppe DellAquila, Luca Pugno and Simone Pugno, has represented a "hub of creative thought in architecture" in Turin, carrying out its professional activity by combining research and practice and making practice the privileged moment for experimentation and architectural innovation.
The LSB work team is the expression of a choral working method strongly inspired by the multidisciplinarity of professional skills.
The studio has always been involved in planning from the architectural to the territorial scale with interventions on the architectural heritage of the public and private landscape, with reference to the themes of urban public space, the design of mobility infrastructures, urban regeneration, sustainable residential architecture through the "systemisation" of environmental issues and critical issues regarding land consumption, urban ecology, sustainable development and renewable energy.
The LSB studio was among the first companies at a national level to deal with the topic of participatory planning and construction site communication. For several years it has been using design development and control tools through Building Information Modeling and order cost control.
In recent years of professional activity he has obtained recognition and assignments worthy of particular attention such as the creation of the Corato Velostazione (Inarch award - WTW Puglia, 2023), the definitive project for the urban arrangements of the stations of line 2 of the Turin Metro, of which includes the master plan for the urban regeneration of the area called ex Trincerone, the recent drafting of the Strategic Charter of Urban Sustainability of Livorno (with W. Nicolino), and the redevelopment and urban ecology and sustainable mobility project called Eco- extramural for the municipality of Corato.
